MC Cable

Metal Clad (MC) cable is a factory-assembled, armored electrical cable designed for use in commercial, industrial, and some residential applications where added mechanical protection is required. Its interlocked aluminum or steel armor provides superior resistance to physical damage, making it ideal for exposed installations, conduit-free runs, and areas subject to impact or abrasion.

MC cable is available in a range of conductor counts, wire gauges (12 AWG to 10 AWG), and configurations including THHN copper conductors with a green insulated ground. Suitable for dry, damp, or wet locations (type-dependent), and rated for use in cable trays, direct burial (where listed), and plenum spaces.
